Bringing you a reimagining of the 1980's arcade version of Battlezone. In a nostalgia overload for those around for the original, we bring you a modern take of Battlezone with a nod to the classic version. Take on the green wire tank enemies whilst watching out for the UFO aerial assault. The following is 5 top tips which should aid in your survival on the battlefield.
1. Keep going!
New lives unlock at 15,000 points and 100,000 points. Keep fighting to gain extra chances.
2. UFO!
Keep an eye out for the UFO. It’s distinctive sound will help you track it down. Destroying it confers a huge bonus.
3. Pick your shots!
Your cannon takes a long time to reload. Account for travel time, lead your targets and make every shot count.
4. It’s okay to hide!
Enemy tanks will kill you in one hit. Hide behind cover when they fire and pop out while they’re reloading.
5. Extra enemies.
There’s more than just basic tanks in classic mode. Watch out for the swerving missile and the rapid super tank. You’ll only fight them one at a time so pick the right tactic for the right enemy.
